This is the 12th week of my H.I.T. cycle and I have definitely become a convert to this style of training. The results I've gotten have been great. It is the first time since I started lifting weights that I've actually seen size increases (and substantial ones at that). At the same time, my body is definitely ready for a rest. I know my body quite well and it is starting to get tired. Two more workouts and then I can get a nice rest for a week. Speaking of resting, today is a rest day for me. I spent it at a hockey game. It was eye opening for my son. He came away from it with some interesting observations about people and the effort they fail to put into things. He has noticed that most people give up too soon. He finds it frustrating that he, as the goalie, isn't allowed to ever give up, but his teammates can quit whenever they feel like it. I explained to him that life can be like this sometimes, with people not pulling their own weight, etc. It was an interesting conversation. I am loving my nutritional plan at the current time. I have had an amazing amount of energy from the slight increase in fat that I've been getting on the weekend. I believe this adjustment has been a very good one. |

Never give up. Try something new, but don't just give up. |
