Take a look at what I saw when I attempted to get into the Shreddersphere website today.
Yes, I have been banned from the Shreddersphere. If you are interested in the reasons why, email me and I will provide the details to you privately. I do not wish to take this disagreement public other than to say that every single reason I was given for why I was banned is completely false. The fabrications were just too incredible to believe. I was extremely tempted to post everything here on the blog, but I have decided that if you want to know I will tell you in private. |

The past week has been insane. Life has changed in our house due to some events beyond our control. The tech issues continue. These issues have caused me to have to change my work habits. I normally get alot of extra things done from home and that has changed this week. I am focused on ways to make it work right now, but it isn’t easy. This has been an emotionally and physically draining week. It is times like this that I am glad I have chosen this lifestyle. I have an avenue to fight off the stress. I have a way to get away from the realities of life. |

M6:D7 (D485) Time
This tech issue is really no fun. It is putting me behind and I don’t have enough time to catch up. It is going to take a heavy effort to get things caught up in the long run. Time is a finite resource. Unlike money, once you spend time it cannot be recovered later. This is why you need to really take a close look at what you do with your time. Spend it on the things that matter. Never waste your time on things that do not benefit you. It isn’t worth it in the long run. |

Today was a 70 minute steady state cardio session. I was dripping with sweat when I was done. It felt great. I was energized. |

Never waste your time as it is too precious to do that with. |

M6:D6 (D484) Reflections
Today I spent some time reflecting on the past year and where I’ve come from. I had some eye opening thoughts as I reflected upon the events of the past year. I started the year with a podcast interview of Marc David. Marc is an extremely knowledgeable body builder who has written two eBooks on the topic. Marc’s passion is teaching beginners about body building techniques. He is quite active on Facebook and Twitter. He has become a good friend of mine this year. A year ago I did not know Carlos DeJesus beyond his picture on his website. I made his acquaintance after purchasing a Quad Blaster from him. As I started talking to Carlos more and more on the telephone I realized that he is an amazing man with an immense amount of knowledge. His extremely humble approach was very refreshing to me at the time. Here is a man who has entered 36 tested competitions and won all 36. How many people can say that? Right now (and probably ever) only one! Meeting Carlos was the start of some major changes for me. I was introduced to the Experiment of One. This concept alone taught me that I could and should do the things that work for me. This concept led me down a path that has improved my physique more than any other technique I’ve ever tried. It is interesting to ask Carlos any question about body building because at first it appears he is avoiding your question. However, upon giving it further thought you will realize that he strongly believes in the Experiment of One and that makes it impossible to answer most questions in an absolute manner. Everyone is different and they should try things to see what works for them. Carlos won’t talk about macronutrient ratios or specific training techniques because he knows that what works for him might not work for you. As a result of the techniques and principles I learned from Carlos and Marc I rewrote major portions of my eBook. This delayed the release (it still hasn’t been completely finished), but it also made the book that much better. I feel that this year has been a year of maturing for me in the body building area. I have spent alot of time doing research on various techniques and now feel I have some approaches that work well for my body. I have expanded my toolkit to include some very useful methods. I have taught my teenage son how to use these tools to his benefit as well. The fact is that these are just tools. They are a means to an end, but they are not the end itself. As I’ve studied the Experiment of One in great detail I’ve learned how important it is to document everything I do. By doing this it gives me information that I can use later to determine what does and does not work for my body. This type of information is essential to the Experiment of One. Take the tools you have and try them out on yourself. Discard what doesn’t work and store away what does work. You won’t be sorry. |

Mike’s Workout Log: Matty’s Workout Log: Today was the first high repetition day for Matty and I and it was intense to say the least. It was strange to drop the weights and increase the repetitions. The burn was incredible. |
