M3:D81 Revealing
As promised, today is the Big Reveal for me. From hereon I will be doing my pictures with my top off. I am also planning to do a four week cycle adapted from Nick Nillson's Muscle Explosion. What I plan to do is attack my body with one exercise each week for the next 4 weeks. I will schedule my workouts as follows: Week 1 – Deadlifts The idea is to one exercise for five training sessions in a row. You use very heavy weight and extremely high volume. I will do 3 rep sets. When I will take 30 seconds rest between each set and when I can only complete 2 reps I will lower the weight. I will continue doing this for a set period of time. Once I've reached my allotted time I will rest 2 minutes and finish off with a set with as many reps as I can manage. I will begin with 20 minutes and each subsequent day I will increase the time by 5 minutes. I will report back my results when I have completed this 4 week cycle. I am honestly not interested in doing the entire Muscle Explosion program for alot of different reasons. However, I believe the 5-day Structural Attack portion (as described above) is going to be awesome for my strength and my muscle building efforts. It is all about keeping the body guessing.

Today was a great workout. I felt so good about being home that I was able to hit the gym with a vengeance. I felt refreshed. I pushed myself a little harder today because of the reveal (like it would help any now). |

M3:D80 Home!
Today I got 7 hours of sleep. I got up and ran the same 2 mile loop twice for a 4 mile run. I then showered and headed back to the client site. Today involved teaching their support staff how to handle common problems with the software. I spent an hour presenting the issues that can arise and then another 2 hours answering questions. The staff was very attentive and I feel the training went very well. When I left they were experiencing a network problem that is not the fault of the software. My flight from Boston to Long Beach was already delayed by 15 minutes upon my arrival at the airport. We boarded the plane on time and then were told that we'd be an additional 45 minutes late taking off due to FAA regulations. This made my flight an hour late. We managed to make up 30 minutes of that time during the flight. I flew on Jet Blue airlines and they are known for having DirectTV at every single seat. I have gotten addicted to a show called The First 48 which is about a real life homicide investigation in the first 48 hours after the discovery of the body. It is quite interesting to see how detectives operate and I could not stop watching episode after episode. I also spent about 2 hours reading up on the Pose Running Technique. The flight was uneventful, but the service was horrible. On a 6 hour flight they offered us beverage service one time only. I'd say the flight crew on this flight was quite lazy. I am very happy to be home. Tomorrow is the big reveal. |

I dragged myself up out of bed after only 3 hours sleep and went for a brief run. I clocked it with www.mapmyrun.com and apparently I ran 2 miles. I then showered and changed and headed off to the client's office. I spent the entire day fixing some configuration problems they caused through their lack of knowledge of our software. I also listened to their change requests and assessed the feasibility of those changes. Most of the day was spent just getting the system running correctly and ironing out some strange issues. In the end it was a very successful day. They took me out to dinner and I had steak with vegetables. I was proud of myself for being able to be social but still stick to my plan. It felt great. It was a pretty lonely trip. On the flight over last night I started to feel really down for no real reason. At one point I even had tears well up in my eyes. I guess the emotion of the past month and a half has just really gotten to me lately and leaving home just made it hit me hard. As I sat in my hotel room tonight I wrote in my journal and cleared my head. It helped to do this. I am amazed at how therapeutic it is to write down what you are thinking. I even have a special technique that I use if I am upset with someone. I write an email to them, but I send it to myself. Again, it is just extremely therapeutic. |

Today I took a very sleepy 2 mile run through Andover, MA. It was an interesting run in that I got to see a bunch of things I'd never seen before. I did some thinking as I ran and I always enjoy that as well. |

Loneliness can be cured by taking your lonely thoughts and putting them into writing and then responding to them like a therapist. |
