M4:D9 (D309) Friends

What's on my mind today?

Today my good friend, Mike:  Aussie Body Builder, had a milestone.  He reached 300 consecutive days of blogging.  This is an awesome achievement and my congratulations go out to him!

Friends like Mike are rare.  While I've never met Mike in person, only knowing him through his blog comments, blog posts and emails that we exchange with each other, Mike has been a tremendous source of support for me throughout my journey.  His unfailing support has given me alot of motivation.  There are honestly times when I'm at the gym and I think about Mike's workouts and I push myself even harder.  He and I have shared personal issues via email and we try to support each other in every way.  It is a great feeling to have a friend like Mike.

Life is a seriously difficult place without friends.  I have only a handful of good friends whom I can confide in.  One of those good friends reads this blog.  He found it through my Facebook profile.  I do not advertise to people that I do this blog.  I'm not really sure why.  This friend of mine has been giving me some very positive comments and has told me this blog is motivational.  It helps me to push harder each and every day.
