Rest 4.5:D6 (D406) Visiting

What's on my mind today?

We found out a few days ago from Alison's cousin that her brother was going to be in town from Singapore with his wife and son. Today we met up with Alison's brother, her cousin and her cousin's wife for dinner.  I spent the entire day avoiding carbs so that I could eat something with them at Buca di Beppo's italian restaurant. 

The dinner discussion was fun as we all caught up.  We had not seen each other for many years.  We spoke about our children and what we've been doing with our lives.  My brother-in-law told us alot about what he does for a living.

Later we accompanied them all back to my brother-in-law's hotel room to meet his wife and son and both in-laws who had spent the day at Disneyland.  We had a very wonderful discussion with them about so many different things.  Both couples (my brother and sister-in-law and my wife's cousin and his wife) have only been married for 5 years and each have a 3 year old son.  With my wife and I having 4 children, there was alot of advice being sought by the two couples.  It was just a really fun time and I enjoyed watching my wife reconnect with her brother.

The night turned into a very late one as we did not leave my brother-in-law's hotel room until midnight.  This is extremely out of character for me.  At the same time, I was fine with it because it was for my wife.
