It is Sunday and a rest day for me. I am contemplating my new workout regimen that starts tomorrow. I've got every exercise written into my workout log. I am ready to record an awesome workout and to report back to all of you tomorrow night about it. Today was spent traveling to a hockey game. The team did not play well as a unit and got worked. There were several comments about the goalie and how without him the score would have been much worse. The rest of the day has been spent relaxing and enjoying myself. I have been watching one movie after another and just getting my thoughts together. I have a few major issues to tackle this week and have been planning those out on paper and reconciling them in my mind. Thanks to the past 318 days, I am much stronger and more resolute about the things I am facing. My plan this week is to get to every blog and make a comment. I enjoy catching up with all of you and what you are doing. I just didn't feel like focusing on that today. It was better for me both mentally and physically to relax like I've done. |

I did some thinking today about the importance of weight training in my program. It is the foundation of everything I do. I eat to support the repair process that happens as a result of my lifting. I lift hard and with intensity. I lift as heavy as I possibly can. It makes me feel good to lift. I am really ready for Monday. I have taken the week off of lifting to let my body recover. I have missed it tremendously. At the same time, my body feels energized. I have been dialing in the nutrition getting ready for a big week ahead of me. I have alot on my mind and as a result, lifting next week is going to be therapeutic. I am going to need the stress relief. I spent alot of time interviewing a candidate for a programming position. I even brought him in to meet the CEO (my boss) and the Director of Marketing. Everyone loved him. I made him an offer and he verbally agreed that it was a great offer. Unfortunately, he ended up declining my offer. Now I am back to the drawing board. It is alot like working out. You lift, you pause, you repeat. Now I get to interview, make an offer, repeat. It stinks, but it is the situation I am given and I will deal with it. I have some personal issues going on right now that are also stressing me out. There are some pretty serious things going on right now that I am going to have to deal with. My regimen is going to be even more important to me as I forge ahead with life's issues. It is not easy and it won't get any easier, but I will prevail. |

I had some technical difficulties with my blog provider, but I am back now. I have posted all my past posts. During this time I've still been blogging and taking my pictures, I just haven't been able to publish them. The discipline, for me, must continue or I know I will fall back. I am excited for Monday to come so that I can start my new workout regimen from Carlos DeJesus. Please enjoy catching up on all previous posts. |

I rely more upon my blog provider than I ever realized! Blogging has become part of my life, so much so that I felt lost not publishing the past few days! |
